Horace Lafeaugh originally had the ability to extend his unbreakable tusks to extreme lengths. When he displayed his ability to the Legion of Super-Heroes in hopes of joining, he was rejected on the grounds that his power was impractical. Years later, Horace went on a crime spree with his girlfriend, fellow reject Eyeful Ethel. They were defeated by the Legion of Substitute-Heroes. | ||||
Over time, Horace's powers evolved. No longer having just unbreakable tusk, he now had an unbreakable skeleton and enhanced durability, becoming a grey-skinned behemoth. Horace and Ethel later joined the Justice League of Earth, a group of Earth-born Legion rejects obsessed with spreading lies about Superman's origin and discrediting the Legion. |
