Large and overweight, Tweedledum and Tweedledee have no physical prowess. They are a threat to the people of Gotham City because they are a cunning and ruthless pair of criminal strategists.
Cane: Tweedledum usually carries a cane with an electrical charge in it enabling him to stun his opponents.
Deever and Dumfree Tweed are cousins who resemble each other so closely that they seem like identical twins. The Tweeds are known as Tweedledum and Tweedledee, both as a play on their real names and because they so closely resemble Sir John Tennielís depictions of those characters in Lewis Carols through the looking glass.
The two Tweeds always conduct their criminal activities in partnership with one another. Fat and Lazy, they prefer to mastermind criminal schemes and let their henchmen carry out any necessary physical activity. The Tweeds will often use their extraordinary resemblance to each other to dupe their opponents and victims into thinking there is only one of them. They have encountered Batman and Robin numerous times while conducting miscellaneous criminal enterprises in and around Gotham City.
