The Cambodian is an excellent hand-to-hand combatant, an expert swordsman and a trained assassin.

Body Armour: The Cambodian wears a suit of armour that gives him some protection from physical and energy attacks.

Sword: The Cambodian carries a katana treated by an X-Ionizer, a molecular hardening technology. The sword’s edge is so sharp that it can cut finer and cleaner than the most advanced blade or laser. It is able to cut through virtually any material, including the Dilustel (quantum metal) skin of Captain Atom.

Shield: The Cambodian carries a shield hardened by X-Ionizer technology, that provides a high degree of protection from physical and energy attacks.

Origins:

The man only identified b y the name Rako was a Cambodian refugee and survivor of a U.S bombing raid during the Vietnam war. He was recruited using advanced mind control techniques by Alec Rois an under cover C.I.A agent who was working in Vietnam during the war, to perform assassinations for him and protect a drug ring that Rois and a number of American soldier’s known as “The Green Elite” were a part of. Rako was used by Rois to frame Nathaniel Adam’s for the murder of General Lemar (a member of the Green Elite), an act which ultimately led to Adam’s being tried for treason and taking part in the Atom project.

Adopting the name “the Cambodian” the 7ft tall ex Khmer Rouge warlord carries weapons that have been treated with the “X-Ionizer”, a prototype molecular hardening technology device that allows edged weapons to cut through virtually any object. The device and it’s creator, Doctor Heinrich Megala, were shot down over Cambodia in 1969 and he used the device to create his weaponry.
