Caress has trained herself in martial arts and in the art of espionage when she worked as a solo mercenary.

Enhanced Abilities: Caress has enhanced strength and endurance.

Acidic Touch: Caress is able to secrete a powerful acid-like substance from her hands that can burn through most natural elements, including human flesh.

Origins:

The woman calling herself only Caress began her career as a mercenary in the latter half of the 30th century, leaving Earth to hire herself out to various employers in search of power and wealth. Having rejected the Science Police and other forms of lawful employment, she chose only those causes outside the norm of society, feeling them more challenging.

When she was offered a particularly distasteful task by the Khunds, she accepted on the condition that they would use their expertise in science and genetic manipulation to give her super-powers as payment. She fulfilled her side of the bargain and was modified so that her glandular system produced an intensely power acid secretion through her hands - a power she called her "acid touch". Her work as a solo mercenary at this point had brought her to the attention of the Emerald Empress, who was looking for new members for the Fatal Five. Caress accepted the invitation to join the Fatal Five so she could kill a member of the Legion Of Super-Heroes, which would boost her villainous profile.
