In Quraci myth, the demon Arrakhat is an evil djinn from the O'salla Ben Duuram, or “Oasis of the Damned”, one of the descending circles of Hell. Rather than granting three wishes to it’s invoker, Arrakhat instead offers three murders, upon completion of which this genie will return to it’s resting place in the so called “Well of Flames”. | ||||
In modern times, Arrakhat was summoned forth by the Arghulian, a religious zealot and enemy of Tim Drake’s (Robin) schoolmate Ali Ben Khan, Rhafi (or prince) of Dhubar. The Arghulian opposed Khan’s rule and was determined to see him dead rather than let him assume the throne of Dhubar. |
