James Collins is the brother of John Collins, a radical dreamer, and environmental activist, who had a breakdown and became a drifter. He was eventually recruited by Maxwell Lord, who promised him he would be a hero and save the world. He sent him to attack the United Nations, where he was defeated by the newly formed Justice League and committed suicide. James having learned of Lord’s part in the plan blackmailed him for millions of dollars and used the money to acquire super powers in order to take revenge on the Justice League. |
