| Heath was originally a drug addict from Gotham City, where he had a steady girlfriend who he was preparing to marry. He prepared to propose to her by bringing her to the roof of his apartment building, when the Joker arrived on the roof using a jetpack in an effort to flee Batman. The Joker growing desperate threw a capsule containing Joker venom, this forced Batman to let the Joker go, in order to stay with Winslow until paramedics arrived. The Jokerized Winslow attempted to tell Batman to save Beth but he couldn't speak. When the paramedics arrived they declared him dead, with the drugs he had previously had in his system saving him from death, he was then sent to the morgue. It was there they discovered he was alive sending him to the hospital where they were uncertain if he would recover. He spent years in hospital, unable to speak with the entire staff believing him to be brain dead, he stayed in this state until a new doctor finally ordered a brain scan which revealed brain activity. He began therapy to regain the use of his entire body with the only after effect being his remaining joker grin. Following his awakening he gained a small fortune due to the negligence of the hospital, and their actions while he was in his self aware coma. |
| Upon leaving the hospital, he returned to the roof to find his girlfriend's body, believing the drugs in her system would have had a similar effect, with her suffering a slow torturous death on the roof. He decided to seek vengeance on Gotham City hiring Doctor Kaligari to create a new drug, which removed the fatal ingredient of Joker Venom, and having it distributed to the citizens of the city, who began to grow increasingly violent. Heath became the head of the Jokerz gang, rallying them through viral videos on the internet to steal and get into conflict with the G.C.P.D. He then took up making viral videos dressed as Batman spurring " The Guardian Bats" to battle the Jokerz for the fate of Gotham. |
