Roger Zither was a soldier and the first to experience Professor Stein's Firestorm Protocols. The idea was for each country that had a nuclear program to have a Firestorm, a national defender. A hero with the capabilities of mutually assured destruction. Eliminating the need for defence budgets that even the richest countries could no longer afford. The experiment was a failure and Roger, accidentally destroyed the town of Otter Creek, killed his own children and disfigured his wife. The process and it's aftermath sent him insane. He was taken to a secure facility in Nevada, run by his wife Candace. He spent three years there before being sent after Firestorm in an attempt to destroy him. |
