| Kantuu's full powers are unknown, he has lived for centuries and appears to be supremely powerful, displaying vast strength, size alteration, flight and energy blast abilities, possibly magical in nature. | |||||||

| Thousands of years ago, the warrior race of Djinn attacked Oa, only to find themselves overpowered and captured by the Oans, then sealed into small green bottles where they would stay until some innocent soul freed them. At that point, the Oans theorised, they would learn humility by performing three tasks for their masters, after which they could go free. The bottles were dispersed throughout the universe. Kantuu's landed on Earth, in ancient Arabia. After he had performed his duties for his new master, the master's last wish was for Kantuu to leave Earth. | ||||
| Kantuu spent centuries locked in the ice of Wondil XI until he was inadvertently freed by Bouncing Boy and Duo Damsel. He tried to return to Earth to release any brother Djinn he could find, causing heavy destruction to all worlds and persons in his path. | ||||
