| The Titans first encountered Eric Forrester when he was undergoing testing for his meta-human powers. S.T.A.R. Labs determined that Eric had the ability to interface with any type of computer and access its information. Extremely good-looking and cocky, Eric immediately flirted with the female Titans, who found him attractive but overbearing. |
| Eric later romantically pursued Raven, who had just begun to explore her own emotions. Newly free from Trigon’s demonic influence, this was Raven’s first true dalliance with the opposite sex. So while Eric was anxious to take their relationship to the next level, Raven was tentative. And given Eric’s promiscuous nature, the Titans grew suspicious of his true intentions. |
| After a brief courtship, Raven agreed to a more physical relationship with Eric. But before the relationship could be consummated, Jericho intervened. He revealed that Eric was interfacing with computers to sell the stolen information. Additionally, his constant interfacing with machines threatened to make him a living machine unless he siphoned the humanity of others. To preserve his own humanity, Eric would bed women to siphon their very souls – turning them into lifeless husks. |
