Magic: King Inferno is a warlock and a sorcerer skilled in the manipulation of magic. |

||||
King Inferno is a sorcerer and a member of the Homo Magi, who fought against John Zatara in the 1940s. The two engaged each other upon rocky slope in northern Turkey, which caused an avalanche. Both Zatara and King Inferno were buried, but would emerge later. Zatara was rescued by a woman named Sindella, who would later become his wife. | ||||
King Inferno encountered Zatara again in 1945. By this point, he had become the leader of his own coven of warlocks who were in service to a demon named Naedon. King Inferno attempted to craft a ritual that would offer up Ted Grant of the Justice Society of America as a sacrifice. Zatara mystically interfered with the spell, which resulted in a "curse" that gave Ted Grant nine lives. |
