| Superman's first encounter with Combattor was not actually in real life, but rather in an illusion-like dream created by Prann of the Circle. In this illusion, he was referred to by the name of "Synapse," and he teamed up with Lex Luthor, Bizarro and Metallo to fight Superman. | ||||
