A member of various police forces, the Londonderry born Soames found his niche in Bludhaven, where he played both sides of the legal fence. He would feed Nightwing information about Blockbuster's organization while serving the city's crime lord as one of his mob lieutenants. | ||||
| Realising that Soames would be his undoing, Blockbuster twisted the inspector's head and neck 180 degrees - but Soames didn't die. Rehabilitation with radical drug therapy by Dr. Sandra Pavaar, Soames beat paralysis and learned to walk again despite his physical deformity. | ||||
