His systematic campaign to murder various agents of both Order and Chaos and to gain control of the power of Dr Fate was discovered by Wesley Dodds, the original Sandman, who put the Justice Society and Scarab onto the case, killing himself to prevent Mordru from gaining the knowledge he needed about the reincarnation of Fate. After killing Kestrel, Fate and Kid Eternity, Mordru kidnapped the Fate child from under the noses of the Justice Society. |
