Nothing is known about the early life of the modern-day pirate who called himself Commander Kraken. Kraken was behind a series of disasters that befell many international ships. The world blamed the undersea dwelling Atlanteans, who in turn blamed the mythical, giant squid-like sea-monster known as the Kraken. Commander Kraken was drawn into conflict with the Atlantean prince Namor, also known as the Sub-Mariner. |
