| Shadowlands: Obsidian has control over a dimension of primordial darkness called the Shadowlands. He has manifested the ability to control the actions of individuals by trapping the individual inside there own minds with their own inner torments. He has been able to release the primordial darkness so it engulfs the entire planet. He can control the shadows people project, form creatures, weapons and bindings from the dimension. He has also exhibited the ability to grow in size. It’s possible that within the dimension his powers are limitless. | |||||||

| Obsidian is the son of Alan Scott (Sentinel) and a super villain Rose Forest (Rose and the Thorn). Todd was separated at birth from his twin, Jennie-Lynn Hayden (Jade). He had a difficult childhood and was abused by his stepfather Jim Rice. In early adolescence he displayed symptoms of schizophrenia like his Mother. His life took a dramatic turn when he manifested his shadows abilities. He served as a member of Infinity Inc. and was also briefly affiliated with the Justice League. Todd recently stopped taking his medication and came under the influence of Ian Karkull. Karkull was a super villain killed by the original Justice Society whose spirit inhabited the Shadowlands. His influence seems to have pushed Todd over the edge into the abyss. | ||||
