The Silver Samurai is a master of Kenjutsu, the art of wielding a katana, and is an expert in the art of bushido, the history and customs of the samurai class. He is also a highly skilled master of the Oriental martial arts.

Tachyon Field: The Silver Samurai is a mutant with the ability to generate a tachyon energy field from within his body. He typically focuses this field through his katana, a samurai long sword allowing it to cut through almost any substance.

Body Armour: The Silver Samurai wears a suit of lightweight steel alloy plate body armour that gives some protection from physical attacks.

Teleportation: The Silver Samurai sometimes uses a teleportation ring that allows him to teleport three miles.

Weapons: The Silver Samurai wields a katana, a samurai long sword as well as daggers and shuriken.

Origins:

Kenuichio Harada is the illegitimate mutant son of the former Japanese crime lord Shingen Harada, ruler of the Japanese underworld and head of house Yashida. Shingen never recognised Kenuichio as his son and mastery of the clan passed to his half-sister Mariko. Kenuichio began the study of the medieval samurai martial arts and, once he mastered the disciplines, hired himself out as a modern day samurai.
