| Aegis Lady of All Sorrows has existed in this universe since its infancy. She is a member of the Proemial God’s, beings who shepherded the young universe, maintaining the delicate balance between order and chaos. As Life began to thrive on countless worlds the roles of the Proemial God’s diminished and their age ended. However, one of the Proemial God’s Diableri of Chaos would not see himself diminished and sought to remake the universe in his own image. Recruiting Aegis and Tenebrous, Diableri instigated a war with the other Gods destroying them. With only Galactus left to oppose them the Proemial God’s attacked, Aegis and Tenebrous were the only survivors of the brutal battle. Aegis was imprisoned with Tenebrous in the prison planetoid known as the Kyln by Galactus. They remained locked in the Kyln for centuries and were only recently released by the Annihilation Wave. |
