Shingen was head of Clan Yashida, which he felt had a claim to Japan’s throne. At some point Shingen came to owe the criminal Mandrill a debt of honour Shingen disappeared during his daughter Mariko’s childhood and was believed dead. He later resurfaced, reclaimed control of his clan, and used it to run his criminal empire. |
