Blackheart is the "son" of Mephisto, the demonic ruler of a Hell-like netherworld. Blackheart was not conceived through the normal biological procedure as human children; instead Blackheart's "birth" was triggered by a series of violent incidents that took place on a hill in the small city of Christ's Crown. |
In 1658, a woman named Abigail Housman was brutally murdered on the Christ's Crown Hill. Her blood soaked the land for many hours before she was found, and a large murder of crows circled the spot around her dead body. The hill had since been considered to be a place of evil, and in the following centuries countless atrocities were reputed to have taken place on it. Eventually, large, twisted, multi-thorn rose bushes with black trunks began to grow around the Christ's Crown Hill which in recent years had become a popular dare spot, a place to hold séances, and make out area by teenagers. However, each visit to the hill always seemed to result to more bloody tragedies. |
Some time ago, a young man called Peter took his girlfriend Sarah on the top of the Christ's Crown Hill. When Sarah refused Peter's advances, he tried to force himself on his girlfriend. The violence and selfishness of this act was absorbed into the hill and united with the negative residual energy of all the other atrocities that had ever been committed on the Christ's Crown Hill over the past centuries. This caused the negative energy to reach critical mass, resulting to a small explosion on the top of the hill. Part of the negative energy released in the explosion inexplicably managed to gain sentience, and physical form, becoming the creature that would later become known as Blackheart. |
