As a vampire, Night Terror is a member of the living dead, virtually immortal and only able to be destroyed by direct sunlight, piercing of his heart, beheading, burning and scattering of his ashes, or using the magic Montesi Formula spell. Religious objects can also harm him and items made of silver. He is also bound from entering any dwelling unless invited, and he feels the need to break any mirror he encounters. Most significantly, Night Terror is dependant on consuming human blood every night.

Enhanced Abilities: Night Terror is a vampire and has enhanced strength, endurance and agility.

Vampire Bite: Night Terror’s bite inflicts damage and makes his victim subject to Night Terror’s telepathic commands.

Transformation: Night Terror can transform into a mist-like cloud, a bat, a man-sized bat, or a wolf.

Summoning and Controlling: Night Terror can summon and control lesser animals such as bats and wolves, but also thunderstorms, lesser vampires, and in some cases, humans.

Hypnotism and Mind Control: Like all vampires, Night Terror has the ability to hypnotise most beings just by making eye contact with them for a few seconds. While under his influence, he can force people to do his bidding, though beings of great will power can resist him.

Acute Senses: Night Terror 's senses of sight, smell, and hearing are enhanced to superhuman levels.

Regenerative Healing Factor: Like all vampires, Night Terror can rapidly regenerate damaged or destroyed bodily tissues faster and more efficiently than an ordinary human.

Weather Manipulation: Night Terror, like all vampires, possess the ability to greatly manipulate the weather over a limited area, such as creating immensely powerful thunderstorms.

Memory Absorption: Night Terror possesses the ability to drain memories from his victims.

Origins:

Carl Blake first gained prominence as an assassin for an unidentified US government agency. He befriended fellow agent Wanderer, and the two became close, forming a blood pack in spite of Blake’s distain for humanity. When the agency targeted a Yardi drug operations head, who turned out to be the vampire Steppin' Razor. Failing to make the hit, Blake was instead captured by Razor, who, sensing Blake’s contempt of mankind, opted to vampirise the government agent rather than kill him. Rendered partly amnesiac by the shock of the transformation, Blake was found and recovered by the agency. Discovering he was now a vampire, the agency began running tests on Blake, whom they dubbed Night Terror, but he soon escaped and without his memories began to wander the streets.
