Ramrod was a foreman on an off-shore oil rig, who got his nickname from his merciless brutality and habit of pushing the men under his command harder than was reasonable. At some point, whether, accidentally or not, a drum full of oil fell on him, rolling on his body, crushing his bones beyond repair. Ramrod miraculously survived, but it was obvious he would never move again. He awoke in a spaceship, , a cyborg with steel bones. His benefactors (Madame McEvil aka. Moondragon & Kerwin J. Broderick) told him he had been injected with a deadly chemical, and to get the antidote he would have to kill Daredevil. |
