Dr. Curt Connors designed an enervator to aid in his cell regeneration experiments, later using it to strengthen the life force depleted Spider-Man. During this, the machine short circuited, triggering Connors transformation into the Lizard. Later, Connors used his enervator and a marine iguana test subject in a gene-splicing experiment. The enervator feedback again triggered Connors transformation into the Lizard but instead the Lizard’s powers into the test subject, creating a humanoid Iguana. |
