When his mutant abilities emerged, Cannon used them to become a bully at school, and later, a petty thief. He tried his hand at various other professions, but was contacted by a criminal ring to fix races for them. The police got wise to Cannon, who, instead, haughtily devised a costumed identity for himself called the Human Top, and he embarked on a crime spree before being stopped by Hank Pym (as Giant Man) and Janet Van Dyne, the Wasp. | ||||
He tried to gain revenge and continue his life of crime, only to be stopped by Pym continually, and Cannon eventually designed the Whirlwind identity. |
