Reynard Slinker was already an infamously sly art thief when he decided to steal a Da Vinci painting and pin the crime on Spider-Man. With his men, he cut the painting from it's frame, and left spider webs at the scene. The police asked the Human Torch to help them track down Spider-Man. |
