Mauler is a multi-purpose combat suit that stands for Mobile Armoured Utility Laser-guided E-beam Revised developed by industrialist Edwin Cord, president of Cord Conglomerate for the United States Department of Defence. The suit was a prototype to be mass produced and used by the US Army. | ||||
Aaron Soames was an elderly, former employee of Cord Conglomerate deprived of his pension benefits by a computer error. Soames stole the prototype suit in the hopes of punishing Edwin Cord, who was indifferent to Soames' plight. |
