Pavane is a mutant and was a student in Transia, when he met Wanda and Pietro Maximoff. He found that the twins tended to stay close to each other and avoid contact with others. Pavane was attracted to Wanda and tried many times to approach her, but Pietro always pulled her away. Developing an infatuation with Wanda, Pavane secretly used his powers to destroy their boat while they rowed down a stream. Pavane jumped into the stream to save Wanda, but Pietro saved her instead and told Pavane they didn't need his help. Pavane turned his jealousy of Pietro into full blown hatred and wanted revenge on the speedster. | ||||
Pavane travelled to America sometime after Pietro and Wanda, moving to the Transian part of New York City, where he eventually settled down and was married producing three offspring: Ampere, Brawler, and Wanda. Pavane's wife eventually died when she was murdered by bigoted neighbours, but no matter what, he was still bent on taking Pietro down. To ensure this, he taught all three of his children to hate Quicksilver. This is when their two paths crossed again. |
