When Shang-Chi was only a child, Tiger-Claw came to Fu Manchu's fortress in Honan, and demanded that he be made a lodge master in the Si-Fan. Fu Manchu was not impressed by him, and sent three of his Si-Fan to fight him. In battle, Tiger-Claw slew all three with his poisoned claws. This impressed Fu Manchu, and he was made a lodge master as he requested. | ||||
Tiger-Claw left the Si-Fan when Fu Manchu and Fah Lo Suee split the organization in factions, and became determined to become a master criminal. He masterminded several robberies in the New York area, bringing him into conflict with Shang-Chi. |
