Constituent-Matter Manipulation (Multiple Tendrils): This ability is unique to Lasher. His primary method of attack is to form his symbiotic costume into long whip-like tendrils that act as limbs so as to be more effective against opponents, ensnaring and lashing them. |

Ramón Hernández was a mercenary for the sinister Life Foundation, an organization that was preparing for the M.A.D.(Mutually Assured Destruction) fallout of the Cold War and sought to provide a comfortable life for their wealthy clients after the impending nuclear holocaust. Ramón Hernández was picked from the organization's security force made up of cops, soldiers, and mercenaries to take part in an experiment. |
Once the Life Foundation had captured Venom, who was in San Francisco at the time, they brought him to their lab in Mojave Desert California. There, they forcibly extracted five “seeds” from Venom and hatched them to give rise to a yellow-and-red symbiote, a green symbiote, a dark grey symbiote, a yellow-and-black symbiote, and a purple symbiote. Ramón played host to the green symbiote. Together the green symbiote and Hernández along with the other four hosts, would become the Life Foundation's Guardian Symbiotes. |
