Tail: Bushmaster possesses a long snake-like tail that enables him to move and strike at superhuman speed. The tail, which extends approximately 14 feet from his lower abdomen, is permanently attached to his body. By rapid muscular contractions along the length of his tail, Bushmaster can move at speeds up to 40 miles per hour. By wrapping his tail into a tight coil, he can make a sudden lunging motion, which allows him to move 18 ½ feet in 2 seconds. Bushmaster is able to coil his tail around an opponent and exert enough pressure to kill.
Fangs: Bushmaster has two six inch fangs attached to each hand which are needle sharp and capable of injecting a fast-acting poison derived from snake venom. |

Quincy McIver was born on a Caribbean island. He became a quadruple amputee when he lost his arms and legs in a boating accident while trying to evade the police underwater.
Shortly later, the Roxxon Oil Company equipped him with bionic arms and a snake-like tail in the place of the lower half of his body. He took the name "Bushmaster" from his fallen brother, the first Bushmaster and joined Sidewinder's criminal organization the Serpent Society. |
