| Lament is a member of the Neo a subspecies of mutants that lived in seclusion. When the High Evolutionary switched off all mutant genes, many Neo died, as they had been relying on their mutant abilities at the time. Some drowned or fell from great heights. The survivors were angry and set about tracking down Mr. Sinister, who had allied himself with the Evolutionary, and the X-Men as they had been on the High Evolutionary’s orbital station. Lament is a part of the team called the Lost Souls who operate in the Astral realm. |
