Origins:

In the timeless past, the Elder god Chthon created a race called the N'Garai, and their ruler, Kierrok. Long ago, the N'Garai returned to our dimension, and for a time, they ruled the earth, before being driven back and trapped in an extra-dimensional realm. Since then, they have been released onto the Earth, once more, when a single one of the mystic cairns that seal the passage was disturbed.
