| Enhanced Abilities: Sentinels are 20 feet tall and have enhanced strength and endurance. |
| Robotic Construction: Sentinels are robots, and as such have special abilities: Invulnerability to poisons, disease, gas and mental attacks. They don’t need to breathe and are unharmed by water or the vacuum of space. |
| Body Armour: Sentinels are created from a metal that gives them some protection from physical and energy attacks. |
| Weapon Systems: Mark IV Sentinels have a number of weapon systems fired from their chest plates or palms. These include: Plasma, Electron, Stun and Heat rays. Grappling cables and gas jets can be issued from the palm. |
| Self-Repair:The Mark IV Sentinel has modest self-repair mechanisms. |
| Learning Program: Mark IV Sentinels have a special learning program that gives them an advantage against opponents upon analysis. This data analysis cand be stored for future use against the same opponent, and any other Sentinel can access the information. At the discretion of the government or Shaw, the data can be analyzed to provide a Sentinel with special weaponry against a particular mutant. |
